Loud Media will pay $325,000 for WJRV and WTNQ. During the LMA phase of the deal, Loud will pay $50 per month plus $5190.66 in expenses.
Original Report 5/27: Ricki Lee and Aaron Ishmael’s Loud Media is doubling its holdings in Knoxville TN with the acquisition of “Good Time Oldies 104.9” WTNQ La Follette and Hot AC “106.1 The River” WJRV Oliver Springs from Momentum Broadcasting for an undisclosed amount.
The company will begin operating the two stations via LMA on July 1. Loud currently owns Rock “97.1 VLZ” 1120 WVLZ Maryville/97.1 W246DH Seymour and Oldies “Mid Century Radio” 1180 WKCE/105.1 W286DT Knoxville.
Loud Media is pleased to announce that they have come to an agreement with MOMENTUM BROADCASTING LLC to acquire WJRV, Oliver Springs, TN and WTNQ La Follette, TN.
Broker, Eddie Esserman represented the seller for this transaction, which is expected to close by the start of Fall 2020, subject to FCC approval. Loud Media will take over the two stations via Local Marketing Agreement on July 1, 2020.
