After just ten months at Entercom Country “US99” WUSN Chicago, Jason Pullman and Katie Bright are no longer with the station.
The change comes as Bright had resigned from the station leading to the decision to cut ties with Pullman. Midday host Drew Walker will host from 7am to 1pm in the interim as the station begins a search for a new morning show. Marcie Braun moves from tracking nights to 1-3pm. Scottie Kay, who had moved from the morning show to afternoons last month, will follow from 3-8pm.
A Chicago native, Bright joined WUSN after eight years working in the record industry and had been National Director of Promotion for Warner Music Nashville since 2014. Bright spent five years in mornings at Mid-West Family Broadcasting’s 104.5 WAXX Eau Claire WI from 2005-2010 and one year at “The Big 98” 97.9 WSIX Nashville before moving to the record label side.
Pullman spent a decade anchoring mornings at iHeartMedia Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL in his native Atlanta until his exit in January 2019. He also spent five years in afternoons at iHeartMedia Hot AC “Star 98.7” KYSR Los Angeles and also worked at Hot AC “Mix 107.3” WRQX Washington DC, Country 92.3 WIL St. Louis and CHR “Z100” KKRZ Portland.
