Entercom News/Talk 930 WBEN Buffalo late morning host Sandy Beach will end his over 60 year career at the end of the month.
Beach began his career in the late 50s in his native Massachusetts but made his mark when joining Top 40 1520 WKBW Buffalo in 1968 from WDRC Hartford. He would spend the majority of his career in Buffalo with stints at WGR, WNYS, and WMJQ before making the transition to Talk joining WBEN as afternoon host in 1997 and then moving to 9am-12pm in 2013. Between all his stints in Buffalo, Beach also worked at WBAP Dallas, WJET Erie, WZTR Milwaukee and KYUU San Francisco.
WBEN has not yet announced plans for the late morning slot held by Beach.
