Following the creation of an internal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Task Force in June, Entercom CEO David Field has announced the measures it will take.
The 2020 Action Plan enacted by Entercom will see the company partner with the National Urban League “to deepen our understanding of economic and social justice issues within our communities and provide support for NUL programs through public service messages”, partner with Morehouse, Clark & Spelman Colleges “to provide career opportunities and counseling, while creating a pipeline of diverse talent for key hiring needs within our organization”, create a fellowship program for up to ten recent college graduates emphasizing diverse candidates to fill key openings, and rolling out virtual interactive training for our leadership team and online training for our entire team as part of our ongoing investments in skill building and training.
The company will also increase the size of its HR department to implement the actions.
