Calvin Hunter’s Independence Rock Media is purchasing nine stations and four translators in Northern California from the Estate of Thomas Huth.
Hunter, who has served as President of Huth Broadcasting and morning host at 1490 KBLF Red Bluff since 1997, will pay $400,000 for the majority of Huth’s broadcast assets. The stations included in the deal are:

- Classic Country “100.3 The Outlaw” KHEX Concow
- Country “Double X Country” 100.7 KGXX Susanville
- Regional Mexican “La Gran X” 101.7 KEGE Hamilton City
- Talk 1370 KRAC Red Bluff/103.3 K277CE Fallon NV
- Sports 1490 KLZN/99.3 K257EK Susanville
- Standards 1490 KBLF/104.7 K284CL Red Bluff
- Spanish Christian 1560 KIQS/98.3 K252FN Willows
Not included in the sale are Talk 1410 KMYC/104.3 K282BS Marysville and buildings in Chico and Susanville.
