Macdonald Garber Broadcasting has announced the promotion of Robby Bridges to VP/Programming for the southern half of their operations in Northern Michigan.
Bridges, who joined the company in March as Program Director of CHR “106 KHQ” 105.9 WKHQ-FM Charlevoix/Traverse City MI and is hosting mornings there with his wife Rochelle Gagnon, will now add programming oversight for all of the company’s stations in Cadillac and Traverse City including Country “96.7 The Bull” WLXV Cadillac and Variety Hits “104.5 Bob-FM” WZTC Traverse City.
Veteran programmer and air talent Robby Bridges has been named Vice President of Programming/South at Macdonald Garber Broadcasting. In this newly created role, Bridges will oversee all aspects of programming for the company’s Traverse City and Cadillac MI station clusters including country WLXV and adult hits WZTC, with day to day responsibility for heritage CHR WKHQ. He will continue to host “Robby and Rochelle” mornings on the station as well.

Bridges and Rochelle Gagnon joined the company in March of this year. He will report directly to Peter and Tad Garber.
Bridges was previously OM/Townsquare Portsmouth, Director of FM Programming/Cumulus Detroit and has held various PD and on air roles in New York, Boston, Providence and elsewhere. He continues to serve as exclusive guest host on United Stations True Oldies Channel for Scott Shannon.
