As noted in this morning’s report about the exit of Tim ‘Rayne’ Rainey, Michael ‘Big Mic’ Buhrman has added programming duties for Entercom CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL Sacramento.
Buhrman has served as PD/afternoon host at Rhythmic CHR 102.5 KSFM since May 2018. He previously spent 17 years at the company’s Denver cluster where he eventually rose to APD/MD/afternoon host at Rhythmic CHR “KS 107.5” KQKS-FM and PD of “Comedy 103.1” K276FK.
102.5 KSFM (KSFM-FM) Brand Manager and afternoon show host Michael Buhrman will be expanding his role to also serve as Brand Manager of sister station 106.5 The End (KUDL-FM).
“Michael’s years of experience and successful track record make him the natural choice to bring his expertise and leadership to an already outstanding KUDL team,” said Stacey Kauffman, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Sacramento. “His passion, energy, creativity and optimism will serve both brands extremely well into the future.”
“I am truly humbled and honored for the opportunity and privilege to take on the amazing set of call letters of KUDL here in Sacramento,” said Burhman. “To be able to drive KSFM and KUDL is not a responsibility I take lightly, and I thank Stacey Kauffman, Joe Calgaro [Operations Manager, Entercom Sacramento], Doug Abernethy [Regional President and Market Manager, Entercom] and Pat Paxton {Chief Programming Officer] for this amazing opportunity.”
Burhman has served as Brand Manager of 102.5 KSFM since May 2018. Prior to this role, he served as Assistant Program Director and Music Director for Denver sister station KS 107.5 (KQKS-FM), and Program Director for Denver sister station Comedy 103.1 (KQKS-HD2).
