Hitmaker Music Group is expanding its holdings in Gainesville FL with the purchase of Hot Talk “Florida Man Radio” 104.9 WYGC High Springs from JVC Media for $350,000. Anthony Bucher’s company previously acquired 1230 WGGG/92.1 W221DX Gainesville and 900 WMOP Ocala in September 2020 for $260,000.
The previously announced sale of Sunnylands Broadcasting’s former Soft Oldies “CV 104.3” KHCV Mecca/Palm Springs to Spanish Christian non-profit Iglesia Pentecostal Vispera Del Fin has a $500,000 purchase price attached with the group also acquiring 93.1 K226BT Indio as part of the deal. Iglesia Pentecostal Vispera Del Fin began operating KHCV via LMA on August 1 as part of their “Estacion de la Familia Radio” network.
Cedar Cove Broadcasting sells 1480 KPHX Phoenix and 92.9 K225CT Paradise Valley AZ to Jacob Garcia’s La Hermosa Radio LLC for $150,000.

Somerville Baptist Church sells Christian “Hope Radio” 1310 WKZD Somerville/104.9 W285EN Pricedale AL to Fun Media Group of North Alabama for $85,000. The buyers own three other stations in Alabama and Tennessee, which have no coverage overlap with WKZD.
