Jay Gilbert retired on Friday from hosting his 4-8pm show at Cumulus Media Classic Rock “92.5 The Fox” WOFX-FM Cincinnati.
Gilbert had been with WOFX-FM since 2014 after previously hosting afternoons on iHeartMedia Rock 102.7 WEBN from 1987 until the end of 2012 after earlier stints as Production Director and hosting middays from 1974-78 and later weekends. Gilbert told WVXU’s John Kiesewetter, “Changes are coming, and I decided it was time to go. I’ve been doing this for a long time.” He stated that the decision to depart was a mutual decision.
