The fourth and final day of Nielsen Audio’s PPM releases for the month bring Austin, Raleigh/Durham, Indianapolis, Nashville, Milwaukee, Providence, Norfolk, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Greensboro/Winston-Salem, Memphis, and Hartford.

Austin

Sun Radio 103.1 KDRP 100.1 Austin KXMP 101.5 Music Place WVMP RoanokeWaterloo Media Variety Hits “103.5 Bob-FM” KBPA holds onto its commanding lead 10.0 to 9.8. Audacy AC “Majic 95.5” KKMJ slides 6.7 to 5.9. Public News/Talk 90.1 KUT-FM falls 6.7 to 5.7. iHeartMedia Country 100.7 KASE rises 4.1 to 4.8. Waterloo Regional Mexican “La Zeta 107.1” KLZT is up 4.3 to 4.7.

The AAA battle in Austin tightens. Public 98.9 KUTX falls 5.9 – 4.9 – 3.5. “Sun Radio” 1490/100.1 KTSN rises 2.5 to 3.1. Waterloo Media’s “97.1 Austin City Limits Radio” KGSR-HD2 is up 1.0 to 1.9.

iHeartMedia Country 98.1 KVET-FM is down 5.4 – 5.0 – 4.3, while sister CHR “96.7 Kiss-FM” KHFI falls 5.2 – 3.8 – 3.5. Genuine Austin Radio Sports “104.9 The Horn” KTXX rises 1.4 to 2.5.

Raleigh/Durham

106.1 FM Talk WTKK RaleighiHeartMedia Conservative Talk “Talk 106.1” WTKK jumps up 7.3 to 8.8. Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes that is the largest share on the frequency since it was Rock WRDU in Winter 1992 and the first time WTKK has led Raleigh/Durham. Capitol Broadcasting AC “Mix 101.5” WRAL-FM slides 10.2 – 8.7 – 7.4 into a second place tie with Public News/Talk 91.5 WUNC-FM (steady at 7.4). Radio One Adult R&B “Foxy 107.1/104.3” WFXC/WFXK inches up 6.5 to 6.7, while iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WRDU is down 6.5 to 5.9.

Not a good monthly for Top 40 in Raleigh/Durham. iHeartMedia’s “G105” WDCG is down 3.7 – 3.3 – 2.7 for what Huff notes is its lowest share since 1981. Curtis Media’s “Pulse-FM” 102.5 WPLW-FM/96.9 WWPL is down 2.4 to 1.8.

Indianapolis

Indy Alt 103.3 WOLT IndianapolisCumulus Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK holds onto the lead 11.3 to 11.2. Radio One’s newly combined cluster takes the next three spots with News/Talk 93.1 WIBC up 9.3 to 9.9, AC “B105.7” WYXB up 7.7 to 7.9, and Adult R&B 106.7 WTLC-FM steady at a 5.8. Cumulus Country 95.5 WFMS ties for fourth down 7.7 to 5.8.

iHeartMedia’s new Classic Alternative “Indy 103.3” WOLT rises 2.0 to 2.6 following its relaunch in the second week of the month. Sarkes Tarzian AAA 92.3 WTTS dips 6.0 to 5.4.

Cumulus CHR 99.5 WZPL rises 3.9 to 4.5 following the demise of “Radio Now 100.9” WNOW-FM. Radio One Sports “93.5/107.5 The Fan” WIBC-HD2 rises 2.4 to 3.2.

Nashville

104.5 The Zone WGFX NashvilleMidwest Communications takes the top two spots in Music City as Variety Hits “96.3 Jack-FM” WCJK holds onto its lead 9.6 to 9.0. AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA rises to second 6.2 to 6.8. iHeartMedia Country “The Big 98” WSIX is up 5.9 to 6.4. Cumulus Classic Country “95.5 Nash Icon” WSM-FM dips 6.5 to 6.2. Cumulus Sports “104.5 The Zone” WGFX jumps way up 2.1 – 3.5 – 6.1.

Crowmell Rock “102.9 The Buzz” WBUZ trends up 3.8 – 4.3 – 4.5. Trending down are iHeartMedia’s trio of Classic Rock “105.9 The Rock” WNRQ (6.7 to 5.8), Hip Hop “101.1 The Beat” WUBT (6.5 – 5.9 – 4.9), and Conservative Talk 1510/98.3 WLAC (2.7 to 1.6).

Milwaukee

620 WTMJ MilwaukeeGood Karma News/Talk 620 WTMJ rises 8.9 to 10.0 to claim the Milwaukee lead. iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 1130 WISN slips 10.3 to 9.6. iHeart Classic Hits “95.7 Big-FM” WRIT-FM is up 8.7 to 9.4. Saga Classic Rock “Hometown Rock 96.5” WKLH drops 8.4 to 7.6. iHeartMedia Country “FM 106.1” WMIL dips 7.2 to 6.9.

Milwaukee Radio Alliance Alternative “FM 102.1” WLUM rises 3.6 – 3.8 – 4.0. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “V100” WKKV is up 2.9 to 3.5. Slipping are Saga Adult R&B “Jammin 98.3” WJMR (4.4 – 3.6 – 3.2) and Audacy CHR “103.7 Kiss-FM” WXSS (3.7 to 3.2).

Providence

630 WPRO 99.7 WEAN ProvidenceiHeartMedia Rock 94.1 WHJY remains on top down 10.2 to 9.8. Cumulus AC “Lite 105.1” WWLI rises 7.7 to 8.9. Hall Communications’ “Cat Country 98.1” WCTK dips 8.5 to 8.2. Cumulus CHR “92 Pro-FM” WPRO-FM is steady at a 6.9. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “B101” WWBB rises 5.1 to 5.9.

Max Media’s recently launched Urban Adult Hits “100.5 The Vibe” WVBW grows 2.1 to 2.6. The demise of the former CHR “Hot 100” sees Audacy CHR “Z104” WNVZ rises 2.4 – 2.7 – 3.1 and iHeartMedia Rhythmic AC “Movin 107.7” WMOV-FM up 1.8 to 2.5.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop “93.3 The Beat” WJBT continues its surge up 4.6 – 6.0 – 6.4. Cox Alternative “X106.5” WXXJ rises 1.6 to 2.2.

Trending down in Jacksonville are iHeartMedia Adult R&B “V101.5” WSOL (7.3 – 6.3 – 6.0), Renda Country “99.9 Gator Country” WGNE (6.5 – 5.3 – 4.7) and iHeartMedia CHR “97.9 Kiss-FM” WKSL (3.7 to 2.5).

West Palm Beach

97.9 WRMF West Palm Beach KVJHubbard Hot AC 97.9 WRMF holds onto its usual top spot up 8.8 to 10.5. iHeartMedia AC “Kool 105.5” WOLL is up 6.8 to 7.1. Hubbard Adult R&B “X102.3” WMBX trends up 5.4 – 5.9 – 6.2, while sister Classic Hits “Sunny 107.9” WEAT drops 6.4 to 5.8. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Gater 98.7” WKGR rises 4.8 to 5.3.

Public News/Talk 91.3 WLRN-FM Miami (with its 101.9 West Palm Beach translator) trend up 2.4 – 3.3 – 3.8. Hubbard Rhythmic CHR “Party 96.3” WRMF-HD4 jumps 0.7 to 1.3, but sister Conservative Talk 850 WFTL trends down 3.4 – 1.1 – 0.9.

Greensboro/Winston-Salem

93.1 The Wolf WPAW GreensboroAudacy Adult R&B 97.1 WQMG rises 10.3 to 10.9 to expand its lead. Dick Classic Rock “Rock 92” WKRR drops 9.1 to 8.4. Audacy Country “93.1 The Wolf” WPAW continues its four month surge 4.2 – 6.0 – 7.2 – 8.3 for its highest share since 2014. Audacy Variety Hits “98.7 Simon” slides 9.4 – 8.8 – 7.7. iHeartMedia AC “Mix 99.5” WMAG rises 5.7 to 6.8.

Audacy Hip Hop “102 Jamz” WJMH trends down 6.3 – 5.8 – 5.2. iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 94.5 WPTI slides 5.8 – 5.1 – 4.8.

Memphis

103.5 WRBO MemphisCumulus Adult R&B 103.5 WRBO surges up 12.8 to 16.7. Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes this is the highest share for any station in Memphis since Fall 1988 and also the highest non-Christmas music share for any station in PPM measurement. iHeartMedia’s Adult R&B “V101” KJMS is up 9.4 to 10.4. iHeartMedia Gospel “95.7 Hallelujah-FM” WHAL-FM drops 9.3 to 8.0. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “K97” WHRK falls 8.6 to 6.8. Audacy AC “104.5 The River” WRVR trends down 7.3 – 6.6 – 6.1.

Cumulus Country “Kix 106” WGKX trends up 2.7 – 3.2 – 3.7. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Rock 103” WEGR is up 2.7 – 2.9 – 3.5.

Trending down are Audacy Country “94.1 The Wolf” WLFP (3.1 – 2.5 – 2.4), Flinn Classic Hits 107.5 WHBQ-FM (2.0 to 1.4), and iHeartMedia CHR “101.9 Kiss-FM” KWNW (2.0 to 1.2).

Full Power Radio Alternative “Radio 104.1” WMRQ trends up 2.8 – 3.3 – 3.4. iHeartMedia Hot AC “KC 101” WKCI is up 2.2 – 2.3 – 3.0.
