After a couple weeks stunting as Stripper Hits “102.7 The Pole“, Border Broadcasting has flipped 102.7 WLYK Cape Vincent NY/Kingston ON to Gold AC “102.7 Lake FM“.

Positioning as “Kingston’s Feel Good Station”, WLYK is featuring music from the 70s through 90s with core artists listed as Eurythmics, Eagles, Hall & Oates, Toto, Whitney Houston, Journey, Heart, REO Speedwagon, Tina Turner, Duran Duran, Madonna, Prince, Elton John, Foreigner, Genesis and Rod Stewart. The station is debuting with 20,000 songs-in-a row.

Led by My Broadcasting Corporation’s Jon Pole and Andrew Dickson, the station was purchased in December 2022 for $325,000. WLYK was previously programmed by Rogers Sports & Entertainment as CHR “Kiss 102.7” until the “102.7 The Pole” stunt began on February 28.
