The move breaks WKPQ off of its simulcast of sister Country “Bigfoot Country” 96.1 WCBF Elmira/95.1 W236AK Corning after two years. The station retains the Compass Media Networks syndicated Big D & Bubba morning show and “Taste of Country Nights” hosted by Evan Paul. Former WKPQ Program Director Lee Richey reclaims those duties and hosts middays while also continuing to track mornings at the company’s Classic Hits “Big Oly” 1450 WOLY/105.5 W288EK/107.1 W296DB Olean and “Cool Radio” 98.7 WPHD Corning/97.1 WZHD Canaseraga/WCBF-HD3.
