Townsquare Media has launched Hot AC “Zoey 103.9” WPBZ-FM Rensselaer/Albany NY.
The new brand launched at 10:00 this morning replacing Soft AC “103.9 The Breeze“. Positioning as “Albany’s Ultimate Playlist”, the new format launched with 10,000 songs commercial-free. The imaging is more reminiscent of a Variety Hits station with the company describing the new brand as “You wanted a fresh perspective on your airwaves, You wanted all your favorite hits from today and your favorite throwbacks and songs from yesterday. Zoey is here to do it all!” Townsquare adds, “You are going to love spending time and becoming friends with Zoey. She is quirky, fun, loves the 518, and plays all your favorite artists you love like Taylor Swit. The Weeknd. Harry Styles, Beyonce. Maroon 5. Shawn Mendes. Dua Lipa. Bruno Mars, and so many more. Albany’s newest radio station, Zoey 103.9 is playing them all!”
