In late January, Millcreek Broadcasting Active Rock “97.5 The Blaze” KZZQ Coalville and 105.1 KAUU Manti, UT flipped to Rock AC while keeping the Blaze moniker. After only 10 months the station reverted to its former format on December 1. Following a stunt in which morning host Rog supposedly flipped out regarding the music he had to play and was “arrested”, the station was “convinced” to bring back its previous format.
The Millcreek cluster is in the process of being acquired by Simmons Media, resulting in KZZQ and KAUU being placed in trusts to be sold off along with 6 other stations owned by Millcreek, Simmons, and 3 Point Media.
