Radio One is selling the two halves of Hot AC “Mix 100.9/99.3” WLNK Indian Trail NC and WMXG Chester SC to separate Christian networks.
Bible Broadcasting Network will acquire 100.9 WLNK Indian Trail for $4.2 million. BBN is currently heard in Charlotte on 930 WYFQ Charlotte and 93.5 WYFQ-FM Wadesboro NC.
The Augusta Radio Fellowship, which operates the Christian Preaching “Good News Network“, is acquiring 99.3 WMXG Chester SC for $725,000. WMXG covers the southern portions of the Charlotte market.
The two stations had taken on the Hot AC “Mix” brand as part of Radio One’s multiple station shuffle in December that moved News/Talk 1110 WBT to its former home on 107.9. Radio One will retain the WLNK call letters following the sale.
