Adelman Broadcasting has flipped a pair of its stations in Ridgecrest CA.
Rhythmic Hot AC “100.9 The Heat” moves from KRAJ Johannesburg to 98.5 KGIL Johannesburg as “98.5 The Heat“. The station will continue to feature ‘DJ Craig EC’ in mornings and “Slowjams with R-Dub” at night.
That move allows for the launch of Country “Thunder Country 100.9” on the stronger KRAJ signal replacing Classic Country “98.5 Superstar Country” KGIL. The station is rimshotting the nearby Lancaster/Palmdale market on the other side of Edwards Air Force Base. It follows the sale of Country 97.7 KTPI-FM Mojave and transfer of its IP to the weaker 106.9 KMVE California City at the start of the year.
