After taking News/Talk 560 KBLU Yuma AZ silent at the end of February, El Dorado Broadcasters is selling the station to Derek Egeberg’s Approval Coach Broadcasting LLC for $50,000. Egeberg serves as a local mortgage lender and is running for Yuma City Council.
Whiskey Sours Broadcasting and Productions sells 94.5 WSBX Mackinaw City MI to Northern Christian Radio for $200,000. Whiskey Sours, which also owns 93.1 WMKZ Monticello KY, acquired WSBX in 2023 and has been simulcasting TSE Broadcasting’s 95.1 WUPN Paradise/Sault Ste. Marie since April 2024 as Classic Hits “94.5/95.1 Bridge-FM“. The buyer operates three non-commercial Christian brands in Northern Michigan.
Kurt Jackson’s Quinebaug Valley Broadcasting purchases Catholic 970 WESO/101.1 W266DK Southbridge MA from Holy Family Communications for $65,000. Jackson owns 700 WQVD Orange-Athol, 940 WQVR Webster, stations in Newport RI, and partial stakes in a couple other Massachusetts stations.
Samuel ‘Delk’ Kennedy sells 50% of Middle Tennessee Broadcasting Company’s Full Service Classic Hits 1340 WKRM/103.7 W279DL and Conservative Talk 101.7 WKOM Columbia TN to Clayton Harris for $700,000. Included in the purchase are stakes in both stations’ transmitter sites. Harris serves as Station Manager and co-hosts mornings with Kennedy on WKRM.

Translator Sales
Torres Media Group purchases “Fox Sports 93.9” K230CK Waco TX from Gary Moss for $1. Included in the deal is an immediate Time Brokerage Agreement for the translator until closing and 104.9 KRMX-HD3 Bellmead for eight years at $1350 per month for the first three years and $1500 per month after that.
