Veteran Las Vegas personality Shawn Tempesta has returned to the Audacy cluster debuting this morning as host of “The Shawn Show” in mornings on CHR 98.5 KLUC Las Vegas.
Tempesta previously spent a decade at sister Hot AC “Mix 94.1” KMXB as APD/afternoon host until departing at the end of 2021 to host mornings at Beasley Hot AC “102.7 VGS” KVGS from June 2022 until the station’s demotion to 107.9 last November. He then had a brief run co-hosting mornings at Beasley Classic Hits 96.3 KKLZ before exiting in February. Tempesta also had a previous stint at KMXB in 2006-07 and also co-anchored KTNV-TV’s “The Morning Blend” from 2010 through 2022.
Tempesta takes the morning reins following the departure of Chet Buchanan in February after 25 years in the daypart. Former co-host Mikalah Gordon continued in mornings solo until moving to middays last month.
