Connoisseur Media is expanding its relationship with Compass Media Networks as it will launch a pair of weekend shows into national syndication.
Compass, which has been the longtime distributor for the “Anna & Raven” morning show based at AC “WEBE 108” Westport CT, will first launch WEBE Program Director Robby Bridges’ “Robby’s Top 20 Countdown”. That two hour show is heard on multiple Connoisseur AC and Classic Hits stations including WKJY Hempstead NY, WMXA Louisville, WGTZ Dayton, and KDGL Palm Springs.
Bridges said, “I’m thrilled to grow the footprint of our countdown through this partnership with both Compass and Connoisseur. I look forward to working with Adam, Nancy and the team, and a huge thank you to Keith Dakin and Peter Kosann for their belief in it. Now, on with the survey!”
Compass will also debut “Bay Country” 94.5 KBAY San Jose afternoon host Emily Harlan’s “She’s Country” as a weekly three-hour show dedicated to women of Country music. “She’s Country” will launch on Connoisseur stations including WWWF Long Island, WCCQ/WXLC in suburban Chicago, KUPL Portland, KGNC Amarillo, KLLL Lubbock, KDES Palm Springs, WCEN Saginaw MI, KYKX Tyler, and KBRJ Anchorage.
Harlan said, “I am beyond thrilled to partner with Compass Media Networks to bring “She’s Country” nationwide. This show celebrates the incredible women of country music and I am so happy and honored to play a small part in expanding their reach to listeners across the nation. This is a dream come true, and I am very thankful to Connoisseur and Compass for this incredible opportunity.”
Connoisseur SVP/Programming Keith Dakin commented, “Compass Media Networks has been a great partner to Connoisseur and we are extremely excited to bring two new shows to their portfolio. She’s Country, led by one of the premiere country music hosts in America, Emily Harlan is going to shine a spotlight on all the great female music coming out of Nashville. In the year of Ella Langley, this is the perfect show at the perfect time. “Robby’s Top 20” gives Robby Bridges the platform he has always wanted…a chart show for a true chart nerd!”
