Little Dog Media Group has brought back the Rock “The Surf” brand that previously aired on 960 WSVU North Palm Beach/92.5 W233CJ West Palm Beach/101.7 W269DS North Palm Beach from 2019 until October 2021.
The new “94.7/96.9 The Surf” debuted on Wednesday, August 12 on 1380 WWRF/96.9 W245AY Lake Worth and 94.7 W234DA West Palm Beach at 12pm replacing Variety Hits “Jack-FM“. Like its predecessor, the station is positioning as “Palm Beaches Finest Rock” with a broad mix of Rock and Alternative from the 1970s through 2000s.
Little Dog also is taking over operations of the “Jack-FM” brand in the market as it moves to their just closed $275,000 purchase of 1000 WJBW Jupiter/93.7 W229DG West Palm Beach. The previous iteration of Jack on WWRF had been operated by Glades Media.
