Cumulus CHR “Q99.7” WWWQ Atlanta is adding “The Kannon Show” for nights.
The move marks host Kannons’s third stint in Atlanta first as Music Director and night host at Rhythmic CHR “95.5 The Beat” WBTS-FM in the early 2000s and then as APD and hosting afternoons at Audacy Hot AC “Star 94” WSTR from 2019 until 2025. Kannon currently also hosts afternoons at Fort Myers Broadcasting Hot AC 96.9 WINK-FM Fort Myers FL, and Brand Manager/host of the the weekly syndicated “Open House Party” and daily “The Kannon Show” for United Stations. He has also held roles including Program Director of Rhythmic CHR “Wired 96.5” WRDW-FM Philadelphia, hosting mornings at CHRs “i93.3” KLIF-FM and “Amp 103.7” KVIL Dallas, and afternoons at Hot AC “102.9 Now” KDMX Dallas.
Kannon takes the nighttime slot at WWWQ that had been held by Laura Dickerson until he layoffs earlier this month in Cumulus’ layoffs earlier this month.
