Bryan Broadcasting CHR “Candy 95” KNDE College Station TX has announced the addition of Riley Floerke to its “Morning Candy” alongside Ted Hallowell.
The former Texas A&M pole vaulter and long jumper joined the Byran Broadcasting cluster upon graduation in May 2025. Floerke joins KNDE from sister News/Talk 1620 WTAW where she has already held multiple roles including serving as co-host and sportscaster for “The Infomaniacs” morning show and cluster Sports Director since last December.
Cluster Operations Manager and KNDE Program Director Rob Mack explained, “Riley came to us exactly a year ago upon graduating from Texas A&M. Sports broadcasting is the career she wanted to pursue. We had some openings at the time and were able to bring her on with our Sports station, KZNE. Our Sports Director position has traditionally included a spot on “The Infomaniacs” morning show on WTAW, our News/Talk station, and A&M Flagship. When you have multiple brands, you have to be thinking about the people you have and where they fit the best, as well as where they can maximize their potential. So, Riley has unplugged the headphones from the WTAW studio and carried them down to the Candy 95 studio. She’ll still be doing Sports duties, covering A&M Athletics, but we are excited to have her contributions on “Morning Candy” as well. The show this morning sounded great. She and Ted will gel in no time, in part because she’s already worked with us for the past year.
Floerke commented, “I’m beyond excited to join Ted on Morning Candy! Looking back to a year ago when I first started as a board op on The Zone, to jumping on WTAW’s The Infomaniacs and becoming one of the sports directors last December, I’m just so grateful for every opportunity Bryan Broadcasting has given me. Joining Candy 95 feels like such a fun, natural next step for my career, and I truly can’t wait for everything ahead!”
