After six years in mornings alongside Jon Smith, Samantha Blake will exit “The Smith & Sam” morning show at Bonneville Classic Rock “103.5 The Arrow” KRSP Salt Lake City on Friday, September 4.
Blake has been part of the KRSP morning show since 2020 starting as a producer and quickly rose to co-host later that year. She also served as Social Media Coordinator for KRSP and sister AC “FM 100.3” KSFI. In making the announcement they note that she will be relocating to Portland OR for a new radio opportunity.
Smith separately posted, “What can I say about a co-host that has stuck it out with me for 6 years. That’s 1,792 shows. Sitting 4 feet away from me for at least 5 hours a day.
Sam is my pal. And she’s leaving. I’m sad. But I’m also happy for her! Sam is moving to Portland and continuing on to be an amazing talent in whatever she decides to do next. I always knew that this day would come, and Sam would move on. I would be disappointed in her if she didn’t. But that being said. I’m going to miss my friend. Good luck, Sam!”
