A little over a year after flipping to Millennial Hits “Kiss Throwbacks“, Rogers Sports & Media has relaunched 107.5 CKKS-FM Chilliwack/92.5 CKKS-FM-1 Abbotsford/104.9 CKKS-FM-2 Vancouver BC as “Kiss West Coast” as moves to Gold CHR mixing its previous playlist with currents and recurrents.
The station is positioning as “The Biggest Hits, The Best Throwbacks.” With the change, the “Kiss 92.5” CKIS-FM Toronto based Roz & Mocha have returned to mornings at the station. Former “94.5 The Beat” CFBT-FM morning host Jonny Staub, who joined the station when it flipped to “Kiss Throwbacks” in July 2025, will continue as the locally originating voice on the station as other dayparts originate from other Rogers stations across the country.
The move marks a return to a current based format with the “Kiss” branding for the station, which previously was “Kiss Radio” from 2015 until flipping to Alternative in June 2022.
It also follows the announcement that CKKS-FM will serve as the flagship station for Vancouver Canucks hockey for the 2026-27 season following the shutdown of “Sportsnet 650” CISL in July.
