Original Report 10/31: Copper Mountain Broadcasting has shuffled the programming of its stations in the desert areas around Palm Springs, CA.
CHR “KQ 92” KQCM Joshua Tree has moved to 95.5 in Twentynine Palms. 92.1 is now KKCM and has changed its city of license to Thermal giving it better coverage in Palm Springs. The station is now simulcasting sister Country “KX 96” KXCM Joshua Tree.
Meanwhile, Morris Communications will soon flip 103.9 K280CV Cathedral City from a simulcast of sister Classic Hits “The Eagle 106.9” KDGL to Hot AC. The station will be billed “Crush 103.9” and will be fed by 92.7 KKUU-HD2.
