Alaska Integrated Media has flipped AC “Lite 105.7” KNLT Anchorage to Rhythmic AC “Movin 105.7“.
The Movin format had been heard in the market on 104.9 KMVV until last November. After stunting with Christmas Music as “Rudolph Radio” until the end of December, the station went dark as Alaska Integrated’s lease of the station expired. We reported in January that the station was supposed to return as Smooth Jazz “The Oasis” under a new lease holder, however the station filed an STA to go dark in February for what was supposed to be for 14 days while moving studio locations but has yet to return to the air.
I listened for about 10min. It sounded more like a Hot AC station. Is the “Movin'” brand even relevant anymore?
