95.9 The Rat WRAT Point Pleasant 107.9 W300AO Manahawkin WJRZ-HD2Greater Media Rock “95.9 The Rat” WRAT Point Pleasant, NJ has added additional coverage at the southern end of its Monmouth/Ocean, NJ market.

107.9 W300AO Manahawkin has completed its upgrade to 250 watts at 97.4 meters while changing its source programming from Classic Hits 100.1 WJRZ to WRAT via WJRZ-HD2. The addition of the translator signal gives the station coverage of Southern Ocean County including Long Beach Island.

  1. Dont know why they are not promoting the HD-2, only the translator, it seems nobody cares about HD, which is sad, its sole purpose is to feed translators. Does the HD-2 have the same or better coverage than the 107.9 translator, just curious, if so, it might be better to get an HD radio and listen to the HD-2 on 100.1.
