Wilks Broadcasting has sold Classic Rock “92.9 The Bandit” KURK Reno to Educational Media Foundation for $1.25 million.
The sale gives EMF a second Reno signal to add its Christian CHR “Air-1” network joining its Christian AC “K-Love” on 88.3 KLRH Sparks/101.7 K269FC Reno.
Following the sale of KURK, which had 1.6 share in the Fall 2013 Nielsen Audio ratings, Wilks will still own 3 stations in the market: Country “92.1 The Wolf” KWFP, AAA “100.1 The X” KTHX, and Hot AC “Mix 100.9” KMXW.
