104.1 KILX Hatfield, AR -> KENA-FM
K246CF Beaumont applies to move to 107.7, putting it up against adjacent-channel 107.9 KQQK.
KQQK’s city of license: Beaumont.
I believe that’s why they indicated in the application there will be a second application once the first is granted. KQQK likely had to give permission to allow this to happen.
Also, I wonder if the KVMK calls just assigned to 100.9 Wheelock, TX (Bryan-College Station market) indicates that Bryan Broadcasting intends to move the “Maverick” Country format that just launched from its 102.7 translator onto to the new signal once it signs-on.
That’s already been confirmed.
Ah, I must have missed it.
It will simulcast 102.7 as “Maverick 101” once it launches.
Are KILX and KENA just swapping call letters or are they changing formats etc also?
My parents live out there in the no man’s land of the Ouachita’s and I was surprised to see such tiny towns and stations making the list today. Good old Hatfield & Cove, AR
Lance, any rumblings on what will be coming to the new 102-7 KKEE in Centerville? I’d hope it’s not Maverick as well, Leon County certainly doesn’t have a lack of country outlets to choose from already.
