Mile High Sports 94.1 1550 KDCO Golden Denver Windy City Radio 103.9 95.1 Chicago4-K’s LLLP is converting their lease of 1550 KDCO/94.1 K231BQ Golden, CO for “Mile High Sports Radio” into an outright buy. Vic Michael’s Advanced Modulation Broadcasting will receive $550,000 for the station and translator.

Bristol Broadcasting is acquiring Silent 1350 WNVA and 106.3 WNVA-FM Norton, VA from Radio Wise, Inc. for $35,000. The stations have been off the air due financial and health hardships of the owners. The equipment and studio/transmitter sites of both stations were sold at public auction. Bristol intends to apply to relocate WNVA-FM to a new location within 90 days in order to expedite its return to the air.

North Face Broadcasting is trading Classic Hits “106.5 The Fox” KCIJ Atlanta, LA to Educational Media Foundation for 92.3 K222AO Natchitoches and $142,000. K222AO will rebroadcast an HD subchannel of North Face’s 94.9 KSBH Coushatta, LA.

AVC Communications is purchasing AC 93.5 WBNV Barnesville and Country “KC 105” 104.9 WWKC Caldwell, OH from W. Grant Hafley for $1,136,398.55. AVC, which already owns Hot AC 96.7 WCMJ Cambridge, Adult Standards 97.7 WILE-FM Byesville, and Sports “ESPN Cambridge” 1270 WILE/107.9 W300CB Cambridge in Southeastern Ohio will begin selling advertising for the stations via a Joint Sales Agreement immediately.

North of Columbus, OH ICS Communications is selling a trio of stations to Delmar Communications. “True Oldies 1270” WQTT Marysville, Regional Mexican “La Jefa 1550” WDLR Delaware, and Classic Rock “95X” 95.1 WVXG Mount Gilead bring ICS $250,000.

Eagle Broadcasting purchases News/Talk 98.1 WMXI Laurel, MS from Rainey Broadcasting for $800,000. Eagle Broadcasting began operating WMXI via Time Brokerage Agreement on July 31.

Translator Sales

Windy City Broadcasting is adding two more translators in the Chicago area. After acquiring 103.9 W280EM Chicago from CSN International for $1 million in July, John Bridge’s group is adding the CP’s for 95.1 W236CG Bowlingbrook and 95.1 W236CF Homewood, IL for $150,000.

Beasley Broadcasting purchases 96.9 W245BC Lauderdale Lakes, FL from Reach Communications for $190,000. Beasley will utilize the translator to rebroadcast “Moneytalk 740” WSBR Boca Raton and not transfer the translator along with the stations in the Miami market going to CBS.

East of Columbus, Mount Vernon Nazarene University is selling the CP for 104.7 W284CH Newark, OH to WCLT Radio, Inc. for $43,500. WCLT Radio also applies to increase W284CH’s facilities to 250 watts at 100 meters rebroadcasting 100.3 WCLT-HD2 Newark (Coverage Map).

Alabama Christian Radio sells 103.1 W276CL Atlanta Junction/Rome, GA to Howard Toole’s Radio Quilt, LLC for $15,000. Toole, who operates Rome Radio Partners states in the application he will rebroadcast Heirborn Ministries’ Southern Gospel 710 WROM Rome on the translator.

He’s Alive Incorporated transfers 98.7 W254AV Kittanning, PA to Family Life Ministries for $15,000. Family Life will rebroadcast their 107.3 WCOH-FM Dubois on the translator.

Telesouth Communications purchases 92.9 W225BN Corinth, MS from Way Media for $15,000 to rebroadcast Sports “ESPN 1350” WKCU Corinth.

Kenneth Santarelli’s Surge Media, LLC buys 100.5 W263BE Rose Hill, NC from Conner Media for $80,000. Surge will also LMA 710 WEGG Rose Hill from Conner to feed the translator.

M&M Community Development Palm Desert Branch buys 93.3 K227BV Desert Center, CA from Horizon Christian Fellowship for $3,000.

Community Oriented Radio Endeavors buys 105.9 K290CH Wenatchee, WA from Susan J. Smith to rebroadcast their 99.1 KORE-LP Entiat for $150.
