Cumulus Media has named new Program Directors for their Country stations in Atlanta and Indianapolis as Greg Frey moves up to Corporate PD.

“Kicks 101.5” WKHX Atlanta PD Greg Frey is moving to the Corporate office as Corporate Program Director focusing on the company’s Country portfolio. Replacing him in Atlanta will be Scott Lindy who joined Cumulus as PD of 95.5 WFMS Indianapolis in May. Lindy spent much of his career in Atlanta programming for Clear Channel and Lincoln Financial Media.

Joining Cumulus to program WFMS is Stephen Giuttari from Townsquare Media’s Country Format Leader and Brand Manager for 107.7 WGNA Albany, NY.

INSTANT INSIGHT: The restructuring of Cumulus post-Dickey begins, but the most telling sign in the press release below is any lack of mention of NASH anywhere in regards to Cumulus’ Country holdings.

Cumulus Media announces that Stephen Giuttari has joined the company as Program Director for Country station WFMS 95.5 in Indianapolis, replacing Scott Lindy, who moves to Atlanta as Program Director for Country-formatted WKHX-FM (KICKS 101.5) and as Corporate Program Director for Cumulus. Greg Frey moves from his WKHX Program Director position to Cumulus Corporate, where, as newly named Corporate Program Director, he will focus on Cumulus’ portfolio of Country stations and growing Country product line. Giuttari comes to Cumulus from Townsquare Albany, where he was Country Format Leader and Brand Manager for WGNA.
