Beasley Media has promoted Dawn Santolucito to Music and Marketing Director for “Country 102.5” WKLB Boston. Santolucito joined WKLB in 2009 to oversee their Marketing, Promotions, and Web Content from iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” 107.9 WXKS-FM where she served as Promotions Manager. Beasley Media’s “Country 102.5” WKLB Boston has rebranded as “The New 102.5” as the station undergoes a programming leadership change. Mike Brophey, who has programmed the station since 1996, and his wife Ginny Rogers who served as Assistant Program Director/Music Director have announced their retirement. In their place the station has appointed David Corey as the new Program Director. Corey recently stepped down as VP/English Programming for Bell Media in Canada. Renee Reres, who has been hosting weekends at Cumulus’ “Nash-FM 103.3” WKDF Nashville will move to Boston starting Monday, February 29th using the name Renee Castle. The former actress and reality television producer has also worked at 92.9 WJXA Nashville and 95.3 KRTY San Jose. Castle fills the spot created by Keith Stephens exit last May. Greater Media has announced that Rob Williams is exiting his position as VP/General Manager of their Boston properties at the end of this week to join Townsquare Media as Senior Vice President of Operations. Williams joined Greater Media in 2012 after previously serving as a Regional VP for iHeartMedia and CEO of the now defunct GoomRadio.com. Greater Media is shaking up its airstaff at Country 102.5 WKLB and AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX Boston as three veteran personalities have been shown the door. At WKLB, afternoon host Steve Kelly exits after 17 years at the station and night host Keith Stephens is gone after 14 years. Incoming for afternoons is Keven Kennedy, who was serving as morning host at iHeartMedia Rhythmic AC “Movin 107.7” WMOV-FM Norfolk. Kennedy is also known by his on-air name ‘Nudge’, which he used on his former Dial Global syndicated night show and voicetracking mornings at “Voodoo 104” KVDU New Orleans.
