Midessa Broadcasting has acquired Christian Preaching 102.9 KRGN Amarillo, TX from Family Life Radio for $700,000.
The station becomes Midessa’s first radio station in the market, but joins a rather large television operation consisting of CBS “Newschannel 10” KFDA, “Univision 41” KEYU, “Telemundo Amarillo” KTMO-LP, and Independent “10 Too” KZBZ-LP. KRGN will convert back to commercial operation upon completion of the sale.
Midessa does have one other radio operation in its portfolio. Regional Mexican “La Ley 104.7” KTXC Lamesa serves the Midland/Odessa market.
