Former Nassau Broadcasting EVP/Programming and Connoisseur Media Director of Brand Management Michelle Stevens has joined Entercom Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM and AC “New 102.7” WNEW as Assistant Program Director.
Stevens spent her entire career at Nassau moving up the ranks at CHR 97.5 WPST (later 94.5) Trenton NJ and then through Nassau corporate. When the company was broken up at a bankruptcy auction she joined Connoisseur through their 2012 acquisitions of Nassau’s Trenton and Allentown PA clusters and remained with that company until her position was eliminated in March.
Stevens fills the position held by Fabi Pimental at WNEW until her exit in March and by Dermot O’Neill at WCBS-FM serving under SVP/Programming Jim Ryan.
Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced the addition of Michelle Stevens to WCBS-FM 101.1 (WCBS-FM) and NEW 102.7 FM (WNEW-FM) in New York as Assistant Program Director, effective today.

Throughout her career, Stevens has guided more than 100 stations in over 20 markets, helping teams to achieve consistent top ratings and become market leading revenue producers. Prior to joining Entercom, Stevens served as Director of Brand Management for Connoisseur Media. She rose through the ranks at Nassau Broadcasting as Vice President, Senior Vice President and eventually Executive Vice President of Programming, where she oversaw all aspects of programming strategy, marketing and brand management, and helped create the federally trademarked franchise brand Frank FM in Portland, ME.
Stevens previously served on the Board of Directors and Chair of the New Jersey Builders Association Convention Committee and National Association of Broadcasters programming subcommittees. Stevens has been recognized as “Program Director of the Year” by Billboard, FMQB and Gavin.
