We’ve been sitting on a few of these domains wondering what use they may have. Maybe you can assist us:
We’ll start with an easy one. Cumulus has registered 971eagle.com. Currently pointing to the corporate site, we’ve also noticed that WRQQ Nashville’s site is “Under Construction”. Looks like an easy match.
What’s CBS Radio doing with hearphilly.com and herephilly.com?
Is Clear Channel planning something in Cincinnati? radio941.net is redirecting to WVMX’s website.
CC also has registered 925fmthebeat.com with a matching logo. The site currently doesn’t respond and we don’t know where this one could be headed.
Going to try something new on this post and the Houston one below, as we’re allowing comments here in addition to the boards.
For what it’s worth, here’s a list of Clear Channel stations at 92.5 (from: http://clearchannel.com/Radio/StationSearch.aspx?RadioSearch=92.5)
WESC/Greenville, SC (Country)
KGBY/Sacramento (AC “Y92.5”)
WWYZ/Hartford (Country “Country 92.5”)
WPAP/Panama City (Country)
WQYZ/Biloxi-Gulfport, MS (Urban Gospel “Hallelujah”)
WESE/Tupelo (Urban “92 Jamz”)
WKGB/Binghamton, NY (Classic Rock “KGB”)
WOFX/Cincinnati (Classic Rock “the Fox”)
WVKS/Toledo (Top 40 “Kiss FM”)
KULL/Abilene, TX (AC “Mix 92.5”)
KCOL/Beaumont-Port Arthur, TX (Oldies “Cool 92.5)
KZPS/Dallas-Fort Worth (Americana-Classic Rock “Lone Star 92-5”)
KRPT/San Antonio (Americana “92.5 the Outlaw”)
If I had to pick one, I’d say WQYZ/Biloxi-Gulfport, but I’m pretty much guessing.

Based on the market holes and current success of the stations, I’ll narrow this list of possibilites to:
WQYZ/Biloxi-Gulfport, MS (Urban Gospel “Hallelujahâ€)
WESE/Tupelo (Urban “92 Jamzâ€)
WOFX/Cincinnati (Classic Rock “the Foxâ€)
WVKS/Toledo (Top 40 “Kiss FMâ€)
KCOL/Beaumont-Port Arthur, TX (Oldies “Cool 92.5)
KRPT/San Antonio (Americana “92.5 the Outlawâ€)
My first thought was Cincinnati, especially is there’s something to the Radio941.net domain. But arguments could be made for the all of the others as well.
