RadioInsight - FCC Report 5/15: Another Atlanta Upgrade Dismissed

[membership level="2,3"] Dismissals Cox Media Group's 2007 application to relocate News/Talk 95.5 WSBB-FM Doraville GA to the tower site to the tower utilized by sister AC " B98.5 " WSB-FM as well as three other Atlanta FM's with 100kW/250m has been dismissed despite no fault on Cox's part. The application was contingent on the move of Williams Communications Country " Big 95 " 95.5 WHMA-FM Hobson City/Anniston AL to move to 95.3 in Alexandria with a drop in power from 530 watts to 400 watts from its 332m antenna. The FCC dismissed both contingent applications due to WHMA's "failure to pay the delinquent debt", but no further details were revealed in the public notice. FM Changes Roy Henderson's 105.3 KTWL Hempstead TX applies to modify its CP to relocate to Todd Mission to operate with 8kW/148m instead of 20kW/78m. Kona Coast Radio Hawaiian 95.9 KKHI Kaunakakai HI applies to upgrade from a C3 to C1 with 19kW horizontal/513m . Lincoln-Garrard Broadcasting modifies the CP for 107.5 WKYB Perryville KY to operate with 2.55kW/157m instead of its previously granted 2.85kW/149m from the same location. Radio Beam's CP for 93.3 Gearhart/Astoria OR applies to increase power from 6kW/45m to 6.7kW/45m . Driftless Community Radio's 91.9 WDRT Viroqua WI seeks an increase from 480w/132.5m to 3kW/144m from its current tower. Radio 74 Internationale's Silent 90.5 KQQA Shelton NE applies for a new location with 600w/45m .
