iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 96.1” WHQC Shelby/Charlotte NC has signed a five year deal to remain the flagship station for syndicated morning hosts Ace & TJ.
Ace & TJ have been based in Charlotte since 1998. First at then CBS CHR “Kiss 95.1” WNKS before moving to WHQC in January 2011. They previously worked in Alexandria and Baton Rouge LA and Huntsville AL. They are currently syndicated to ten other southeastern markets.
Channel 96.1, Charlotte’s No. 1 radio station for New Music, announced today that it has extended its agreement with The Ace & TJ Show for five years. The show airs weekdays from 6 – 10 a.m.
The Ace & TJ Show joined Channel 96.1 in January 2011 and features local on-air personalities dedicated to the Charlotte community. The show wakes up listeners with their fun sense of humor, unique take on pop culture as well as reports on local and national news.
