iHeartMedia Names Three New PD’s In Orlando

Lance Ventaby Lance Venta
January 5, 2017

Magic 107.7 WMGF Orlando Brian MackFollowing the retirement of Chris Kampmeier last month, iHeartMedia has appointed three new Program Directors in Orlando.

CHR “XL 106.7” WXXL Program Director Brian Mack will add on duties for AC “Magic 107.7” WMGF. Mack will also take on the title of Vice President of Branding overseeing the marketing strategy for the company’s nine stations.

Talk “Real Radio 104.1” WTKS Program Director Jack Bradshaw will add that role for Sports “96.9 The Game” 740 WYGM/96.9 W245CL. He takes those duties from new Regional VP/Programming Rick Everett. Everett will continue to program Rock 101.1 WJRR.

Lastly at Urban “104.5 The Beat” W283AN, afternoon host Dwight ‘D-Strong’ Ricketts adds programming duties.

iHeartMedia Orlando announced today that three of its programmers have been promoted, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Orlando has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — including XL 106.7, Magic 107.7, 101.1 WJRR, Rumba 100.3 and Real Radio 104.1 – and produces legendary marquee events including Earthday Birthday, Red Hot and Boom and Festival de Las Americas.

Brian Mack has been named the new Program Director for Magic 107.7, Orlando’s More Variety from the ‘80s to Now station. In addition, Mack will become the Vice President of Branding for iHeartMedia Orlando, a newly created role where he will oversee the marketing strategy for the market’s nine radio station brands. He will continue to serve as the Program Director for XL 106.7, Orlando’s No. 1 Hit Music Station.

Jack Bradshaw was named the Program Director 96.9 The Game, Orlando’s Sports Leader. He will continue to oversee the programming for Real Radio 104.1, Orlando’s Talk station.

Dwight “D-Strong” Ricketts has been named the new Program Director for 104.5 The Beat, Orlando’s Hip Hop and R&B station, and will continue to serve as the station’s afternoon drive host.

“I’m proud to work side by side with such a smart and dedicated group of programmers in Orlando,” said Rick Everett, Regional Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia’s North Florida Region. “They are highly respected by our teams and the industry, and I can’t wait to see how they embrace their additional programming roles.”
