South Carolina State University will acquire Silent 1580 WPJK Orangeburg SC from Ermma Barton Gowdy for the $6500 the station owes to the FCC for outstanding filing fees. WPJK will relocate to a new tower site on the University’s campus.

After selling 99.7 KBXD Amarillo and 104.3 KQFX Borger TX in separate deals this week, Tejas Broadcasting is purchasing 92.7 K224EF North Amarillo and 94.5 K233CB Canyon TX from Edgewater Broadcasting for $50 each.
Lee Reynolds’ Shelby Broadcast Associates sells 99.1 W256CD Fultondale AL to Lyle Reynolds’ Red Mountain Ventures for $200,000. W256CD is currently licensed to rebroadcast SummitMedia Gospel “Heaven 610” WAGG Birmingham.
Ted Austin sells 94.7 K234CM Driggs ID to Bob & Connie Meikle for $10,000. K234CM will rebroadcast Intermountain Public Radio’s 91.9 KTYN Thayne WY.
