Former 940 WINZ Miami host Andy Slater is moving to Alpha Media Sports “640 The Hurricane” WMEN Royal Palm Beach for afternoons starting today.

Slater will host from 3-5pm replacing “Kevin’s Other Show” hosted by 97.9 WRMF morning host Kevin Rolston. He previously spent six years at iHeartMedia’s 940 WINZ before exiting this summer. Slater made news in April when the Miami Marlins revoked his press credentials for a day after Slater discovered the team’s new corporate address was a Post Office box in the British Virgin Island.

Starting today, Monday October 15th Alpha Media, West Palm Beach adds The Andy Slater Show to afternoon drive, 3-5P Monday-Friday on 640 The Hurricane (WMEN-AM).

Andy Slater joins an already stacked lineup that includes 2018 Marconi Award Winner Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd, The New York Yankees, The Miami Hurricanes, and The Florida Panthers. His most recent gig had him as the afternoon host for 940 WINZ in Miami. Prior to that, Slater had a 6 year run at WMEN.
