Houston Christian Broadcasters has announced it has purchased Tejano “Power 104.3” KEJS Brownfield/Lubbock TX from Barton Broadcasting Company for $225,000.
HCB operates non-commercial Christian preaching networks in English and Spanish based at 105.7 KHCB-FM Houston and 1400 KHCB League City respectively. The group has been rapidly expanding in recent years adding stations in Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group served as the broker for this transaction.
KEJS is currently one of two Tejano formatted stations in the market alongside Ramar Communications “Magic 106.5” KXTQ-FM Lubbock.
