Starting base pay $40,000 + Commission – you can earn $70,000+/Year (salary is based on experience)

The Catamount Radio cluster in Vermont is hiring a driven Account Executive (Multi-Media Sales Executive) to sell radio and digital advertising solutions to local businesses

What You’ll Be Expected to Do:
• Proactively prospecting new business every day
• Make outbound calls, cold calls, schedule meetings, and present in person
• Sell on-air, digital and event advertising.
• Prospect, market, sell and service advertising to new businesses and build and maintain positive working relationships with existing clients.
• Create custom advertising strategies using radio + digital
• Ensure proper fulfillment of client advertising opportunities
• Own your pipeline, follow-up, and results
• Follow up with clients within 30 days to ensure satisfaction with the services provided.
• Ask for business and close deals
• Build long-term client relationships through performance and trust

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Fast-paced environment
• May involve evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Majority of shifts are spent mobile in a vehicle
• Involves lots of traveling to visit clients

Experience Requirements:
• B2B sales experience preferred
• Media or digital advertising experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation to commute to clients and other offices.
• One to three years’ previous sales experience
• Must be detail oriented
• Must work well with little direction
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills

Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends for special events.
Pamal Broadcasting operates in Vermont through its Catamount Radio cluster based in Rutland. The regional media group serves the Green Mountain State with five localized stations: WZRT (Froggy 100.3 Country), WJJR (98.1 JJR), WJEN (105.3 Cat Country), and WSYB (Classic Hits 100.1)

Candidates with prior telemarketing, cold calling, door to door sales, business development, broadcasting sales, digital sales, monetization, account executive, media sales representative, key account manager, sales executive, media supply chain, sales outreach, prospecting, lead generation and B2B experience are encouraged to apply!
