Vox AM/FM has begun operating CHR “95 Triple X” 95.5 WXXX South Burlington and News/Talk 620 WVMT Burlington VT via LMA. With the change in operation ahead of the pending sale a number of lineup changes have been made at the two stations.
Pete Belair and Sarah Mitiguy have moved from mornings at WXXX to WVMT replacing the retiring Charlie Papillo and Ernie Farrar. Farrar had been with WVMT since 1967 and had been part of the morning show at the station for over 30 years, the last twenty with Papillo.
Replacing Belair and Mitiguy at WXXX will be the syndicated Elvis Duran Show. Jackie Steele remains in middays with her shift extended to 10am-3pm as OM/PD Ben Hamilton comes off air. Jesse remains in afternoons while night host Danny Trevor is replaced by the syndicated Jackson Blue.
