All the numbers can be found at RadioInsight.com/Ratings.

Numbers of note for this month:

  • Hubbard Classic Rock 94.7 KSHE St. Louis continues to increase its market share as it rised 9.5 to 9.8 to set a new record high for the station. iHeartMedia Classic Hits 103.3 KLOU follows in second with a 6.8 to 7.3 gain.
  • The end of the St. Louis Cardinals playoff run sees Entercom News/Talk 1120 KMOX plummet from 7.2 to 4.7. Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues new flagship “101 ESPN” WXOS rises 4.0 to 4.9 with the start of the NHL season.
  • Speaking of champions, the Washington Nationals help Entercom Sports “106.7 The Fan” WJFK-FM trend 3.5 – 4.3 – 4.8. Unrelated to the Nationals, but Entercom sister Classic Hits “94.7 The Drive” WIAD is showing growth one year after its launch with a 2.6 – 2.9 – 3.4 trend.
  • In its first full monthly, Riviera Broadcasting’s “95.1 The Wow Factor” KOAI Phoenix falls 1.3 to 1.0.
  • The Country battle in Phoenix compresses as iHeartMedia’s 102.5 KNIX trends 5.2 – 4.3 – 3.9, while Entercom’s 107.9 KMLE goes 2.8 – 2.9 – 3.3 over the same stretch.
  • While iHeartMedia’s News/Talk 850/94.1 KOA Denver has stopped the free-fall since its move to a more Sports heavy line-up with a 2.4 to 2.5 gain, for the first time since 1980 it is not the most listened to AM license in the market as iHeart’s newly launched Conservative Talk “Freedom 93.7” 760 KDFD rises 2.1 to 2.6.
  • At the top of the Denver market, iHeartMedia Classic Rock “103.5 The Fox” KRFX rises slightly 5.9 to 6.1 to take the lead. Colorado Public Radio News/Talk 90.1 KCFR is down 5.4 – 5.3 in second, while Bonneville Country 98.5 KYGO slides to third with a 6.1 to 5.3 drop.
  • Hubbard CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV Seattle continues its absolute dominance in the market as it rises 7.4 to 7.8 to give it 2+ share lead over University of Washington’s Public News/Talk 94.9 KUOW-FM’s 5.0 to 5.5 rise.
  • Another CHR with a big gain is Cox’s “Hot 101.5” WPOI Tampa with a 3.7 – 4.2 – 4.7 trend to pull away from iHeartMedia’s 93.3 WFLZ, which went 3.8 – 4.2 – 3.8 over the past three months.
  • The Country battle in Tampa also sees a new leader as iHeart’s “US 103.5” WFUS moves 3.9 – 4.3 – 4.5 to pull ahead of Beasley’s 99.5 WQYK’s 6.1 – 4.9 – 4.4 drop.
  • Beasley Classic Hits 105.7 WROR continues its dominance of Boston with a 7.9 to 8.5 rise. iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” WXKS-FM holds in second with a 6.5 – 6.4 move, while Entercom AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX holds in third with a 5.8 to 4.7 slide.
  • iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC Detroit takes the market lead with a 6.0 to 6.2 rise as Beasley Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX falls to fourth with a 6.5 to 5.6 drop.
  • The race for the market lead in Minneapolis is tight. Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM remains in the top spot with a 7.5 to 7.6 gain, Northwestern Media Christian AC 98.5 KTIS-FM rises to second with a 6.5 to 7.4 gain, and iHeartMedia Sports “100.3 K-FAN” KFXN-FM rises 6.8 to 7.3 in third.
