Entercom CHR “106.5 The End” KUDL Sacramento has promoted midday host Orphan Andrew to Assistant Program Director and Music Director.
Andrew joined then 107.9 KDND in 2010 and moved from nights to middays in 2012. He began his career at WHCY Blairstown NJ and has also worked at WBLI Long Island, KHTS-FM San Diego, KHOP Modesto, WAPE Jacksonville and KBWF San Francisco during his career. He also voicetracks nights for CHR “98 PXY” WPXY Rochester NY and Hot AC “Mix 94.7” KAMX Austin.
He takes the APD/MD reigns at KUDL that were previously held by Christopher K until his exit last September.
Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., announced the promotion of Orphan Andrew to Assistant Program Director and Music Director of 106.5 The End (KUDL-FM), Sacramento’s only top 40 station, effective immediately. He will also maintain his current role as midday show host.

Orphan Andrew is only the second Music Director in 106.5 The End’s 21-year history. He joined Entercom in 2010 and has hosted the midday show on the station since 2012. He also serves as an on-air personality for sister stations 98 PXY (WPXY-FM) in Rochester, NY and MIX 94.7 (KAMX-FM) in Austin, TX, as well as the in-game host for the Sacramento River Cats, the San Francisco Giants’ Minor League Baseball Triple-A affiliate.
