Todd Shannon will exit his position as Operations Director and Program Director of CHR 95.1 WAPE and Soft AC “Easy 102.9” WEZI Jacksonville at Cox Media Group Jacksonville after ten years on Friday, March 13.
Shannon joined Cox in 2010 after previously spending fourteen years with Clear Channel including Operation Manager in Dallas and Philadelphia, Program Director of CHR 97.9 WNCI Columbus, CHR Brand Manager, and Regional Vice President of Programming.
Calling it a mutual parting of the ways, Shannon stated, “I am very proud of the ratings and revenue goals we have accomplished together over the past ten years and wish the brands continuing success. I am currently vetting opportunities both inside and outside of the broadcast industry and I’m truly excited for what the future holds!”
