Beasley Media AC “Sunny 106.3” WJPT Fort Myers has parted ways with APD/morning host Ralphie Marino.

Marino had joined WJPT in July 2019 from Cape Cod Broadcasting where he was hosting mornings at Hot AC 99.9 WQRC and middays at “Cape Country 104” WKPE-FM. He also did weekend and fill-in hosting at Beasley’s “Country 102.5” WKLB Boston. Marino previously has worked at at WJMN, WODS and WQSX Boston, WOWI Norfolk, KKLQ San Diego, WERQ Baltimore, WIGX Long Island, WERZ Portsmouth NH, and WKTU and WQHT New York during his career.

In announcing his departure, Marino wrote on Facebook “It was a very professional parting, and I thank them for my time there, I really enjoyed it. This one came as a surprise, although they shouldn’t. I set a goal of getting to Florida to help with the kids, and I am doing that.”
