American Urban Radio Networks has purchased the weekly syndicated public affairs shows Radio Health Journal and Viewpoints Radio from Shel Lustig and Reed Pence’s MediaTracks.
The two programs each are available via barter running 28 minutes apiece including their five minutes of national spots. Radio Health Journal is hosted by Lustig, Pence and Nancy Benson focusing health, science, and technology. Viewpoints is hosted by Marty Peterson and Gary Price.
Chicago area based MediaTracks Incorporated has sold Radio Health Journal and Viewpoints Radio to American Urban Radio Networks, LLC, a New York limited liability company.
The programs are the two most widely syndicated weekly radio public affairs programs in the U.S., airing on a total of nearly 1,500 stations in more than 200 U.S. markets.
