Advanced Media Partners has rebranded “ESPN Peoria” 101.1 WZPN Glasford/Peoria IL as “Peoria Sports Radio” as the station changes network affiliation to Fox Sports Radio.

With the rebranding, the station has expanded the afternoon drive “The Jim Mattson Show with Mike Rizzo” from two to four hours running from 2-6pm. Previously the duo hosted from 3-5pm with Rizzo hosting a solo hour at 5:00. WZPN continues to carry Chicago White Sox baseball around the Fox Sports Radio lineup.

Advanced Media Partners announced today the addition of FOX Sports Radio’s industry-leading lineup to Peoria’s Sports Radio 101.1 (WZPN-FM), effective immediately.

The new FOX Sports Peoria, which is also home to Chicago White Sox Radio Network, now features a complete lineup of live sports entertainment shows, including FOX Sports Radio’s “Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn & Jonas Knox,” “The Dan Patrick Show,” “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” “The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard & Rob Parker,” “The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon” and “The Ben Maller Show.” The station will also feature FOX Sports Radio around the clock on weekends.

“Moving to FOX Sports is both creating an opportunity to give our listeners even more local sports content with our expanded local lineup, and also giving us the top-notch personalities from FOX Sports throughout the rest of the day,” said Advanced Media Partners Operations Manager Scott Hecathorn. “This is the biggest victory for Peoria since the Rivermen brought home the President’s Cup!”
