After six years as part of Hubbard Hot AC “101.9 The Mix” WTMX Skokie/Chicago’s “The Morning Mix”, Violeta Podrumedic has exited as part of this week’s cuts at the cluster.
Podrumedic joined the show as a producer and traffic reporter in 2019 before rising to Social Media Manager and co-host. She previously held producer and traffic reporter roles at News/Talk 720 WGN.
In a video announcing her departure, Podrumedic said, “I will keep everyone posted with updates, and I know this is change and change can be somewhat difficult, but I’m excited. I appreciate all my time at The Mix and everyone there. Thank you thank you so much. Um stay tuned. I don’t have a better radio tease at the moment, but stay tuned. Thank you guys so much for all of your love and support. I miss you greatly.”
Chris Petlak, Nikki Chuminatto and Brian ‘Whip’ Paruch remain in place on the morning show.
